Ohtawara Tochigi, July 27, 2020 ― Canon Medical and Real Madrid have today announced that the Japanese medical device company will remain the club’s official diagnostic imaging partner for a further five seasons.
Over the last four years, Canon Medical has helped Real Madrid conduct more than 4,000 top quality diagnostic studies to ensure players from both the academy and the first football and basketball teams get the vital treatment and rehabilitation they need to return to play in optimum time. With this agreement, we are renewing our commitment to helping the players stay at the top of their game, while pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in the realm of sports medicine.
As per the agreement, Canon Medical is set to provide the club with six new diagnostic imaging solutions, including a world-first AI-powered MRI system, the Vantage Galan 3T with Advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE), and a suite of ultrasound solutions that include the Viamo sv7, Aplio a550, and Aplio i900.
